Aldar Academy was established in 1975 as a private, non-profit, non-public school. They specialize in meeting the needs of students with severe learning, emotional and behavioral problems. Adventure partnered with Aldar Academy Fall 2009 to provide an Extreme Makeover of the school. Want to see the extreme makeover in person and experience a day in the life of an Aldar Academy student? On October 24 and November 7, 2009, over 400 Adventure volunteers worked and fellowshiped together at Aldar Academy. They painted, constructed, gardened, cleaned, repaired and organized.
